AWS Lead

As the AWS Platform Lead, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of AWS account provisioning and governance. You will act as the bridge between application teams and core infrastructure, ensuring every new project is onboarded with speed, security, and enterprise-grade compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Onboarding Management: Lead the process from initial request to production readiness, coordinating between Business, Security, and Networking teams.

• Automated Provisioning: Oversee AWS account creation using Control Tower Account Factory and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).

• Security & Compliance: Enforce baseline guardrails (GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM Identity Center) and validate environments against CIS Benchmarks.

• Network Oversight: Ensure VPCs, Transit Gateways, and connectivity patterns are correctly applied during setup.

• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary Point of Contact for onboarding status, documentation, and self-service guidance.

• Continuous Improvement: Automate manual workflows and integrate setup tasks into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab).

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud Operations, IT Service Delivery, or Cloud Project Management.

• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of AWS Organizations, Control Tower, IAM, and Networking.

• Tooling: Proficiency with Terraform or CloudFormation and CI/CD workflows.

• Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework and security best practices.

• Communication: Ability to translate complex technical requirements for non-technical business stakeholders.

• Education: AWS Solutions Architect certification (Associate or Professional) is highly preferred.
