Who We Are Looking For?
As a Human Resource Executive, he/she will support the full spectrum of HR functions for our retail operations. This includes managing end-to-end recruitment, supporting compensation & benefits administration, and overseeing key aspects of the employee life cycle. He/she will play an active role in employee retention initiatives, HR reporting, and employee engagement activities, while ensuring smooth HR administration and contributing to a positive and engaging workplace culture.
What Awaits You:
Recruitment & Employer Branding
• Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and execute end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviews, and onboarding
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring timely documentation of all employee life cycle movements
• Coordinate the renewal and cancellation of work passes for non-Singaporean employees in compliance with local regulations
Employee Relations, Retention & Grievance Handling
• Serve as a key HR contact to address employee concerns and provide guidance where needed
• Investigate feedback or workplace issues and recommend appropriate actions
• Conduct exit interviews and analyse trends to improve retention and employee experience
HR Operations & Benefits Administration
• Manage HR administration including employment lifecycle documentation (confirmation, transfers, promotions, resignations, etc.)
• Process medical and dental claims, allowances, and employee benefits administration
• Ensure timely work pass renewals and cancellations for foreign employees
• Maintain accurate HR records and employee data in HR systems
• Respond to employee queries and provide HR advisory support
Performance Management & HR Projects
• Support annual performance review and increment exercises, including data collation and documentation
• Prepare HR letters and maintain proper records for performance processes
• Assist with HR initiatives and projects as assigned by management
Employee Engagement and Employer Branding
• Plan and organise employee engagement activities, festive celebrations, wellness initiatives, and other internal events to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture
• Create and manage content for social media platform to highlight company culture and support employer branding efforts
• Contribute ideas and support initiatives aimed at strengthening team culture and the overall employee experience
We Are Excited About You If You Have:
• Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity
• Prior experience in the retail industry is an advantage
• Good understanding of Singapore employment laws and fair employment practices
• Meticulous and organised, with high drive and integrity; willing to be hands-on
• Proactive, with a strong sense of urgency; able to prioritise and meet deadlines
• Works independently with minimal supervision while being a dedicated team player
• Good in numerical acumen
• Comfortable interacting with people at all levels
• Proficient in MS Office skills
• Excellent command of English
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective interviewing, coordination, and counselling & grievance handling skills
• Strong follow-up skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Digitally inclined
