Position Overview
This role supports Silesia’s business performance and profitability through strategic analysis, forecasting, and pricing management. The position leads profitability improvement initiatives, supports the S&OP process, monitors sales and margin performance, and reviews cost center variances with department heads. It also supports the rollout and governance of pricing models, coordinates customer pricing, and develops management dashboards using Power BI. The role works closely with regional and functional stakeholders and undertakes ad-hoc assignments as directed by the Regional Controller APAC.
Key Responsibilities
Business Strategy
• Lead all major profitability improvement projects for Silesia SEA
• Monitor and manage monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecast, provide comparison vs actuals
• Support the S&OP process with Demand Planner, Production Planner and Sales Team
• Conduct monthly margin analysis and lead discussions to improve on low margin products.
• Review monthly cost center costs and gather commentary inputs from Head of Departments on costs deviations
• Performance Measurement: design and prepare dashboards using Power BI (Training will be provided)
Pricing
• Support the new pricing model roll out from HQ
• Maintain, update and validate prices quoted to customers
• Coordinate prices to MNCs / Hierarchy customers
• Train new sales employees on new pricing model
Others
• Any other adhoc duties as assigned by Regional Controller APAC
Requirements
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in finance, business analysis, controlling, or commercial roles
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
• Basic understanding of sales forecasting, margin analysis, and cost control
• Exposure to pricing analysis or profitability reporting is an advantage
• Proficient in Excel; Power BI or data visualization experience is a plus (training provided)
• Good communication skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Proactive, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
