Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting and Analysis: Preparing and analyzing financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Compliance and Audits: Ensuring adherence to accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls, including overseeing financial audits.
Team Management: Hiring, training, and supervising accounting staff.
Process Improvement: Developing and implementing efficient accounting systems and procedures.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Creating and monitoring budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
Financial Strategy: Collaborating with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies and policies.
Tax Planning and Compliance: Managing tax planning, compliance, and related financial reporting.
Data Analysis: Analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is typically required.
Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are often preferred or required for certain roles.
Relevant experience in accounting, finance, or auditing is usually necessary
Proficiency in accounting software and systems, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and tax laws.
High level of accuracy and meticulousness in all aspects of financial operations.
