Key Tasks And Responsibilities • Lead and manage the Project Services function in assigned project (greenfield, brownfield or E & P), including Planning & Scheduling, Estimating, Cost Control, Document Control, Risk management • Responsible for project reporting • Establish and oversee all systems and routines to effectively handle all above functional areas within the project (systems shall be based on BWO’s Best Practices, procedures, systems and tools) • Participate in development and evaluations of project contracts and POs • Responsible for monitoring and analysis of Contractor / Supplier performance related to Project Services • Assist in managing the Client contract or Government/Partners PSC/JOA contracts • Perform audits and examinations of internal and external (contractor) work processes, procedures and deliverables • Work closely with and actively support Project Manager, Engineering, Project HSEQ and all other project teams • Support communications related to project service matters to Clients, Owners, Governments, Partners, Suppliers, Support services and Project Team • Provide input/Lessons Learned to BWO’s Best Practices for Project Services • Act as a mentor and resource for new employees, less experienced colleagues and consultants Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent • Long relevant experience may replace formal education • Ideally 15 years of experience with major offshore/industrial projects and within Project Services, Cost Control, Estimating or Planning • Previous FPSO and/or E & P experience is an advantage • Managerial experience • Documented experience with Project Control or as Project Services Manager Skills • Team player with the ability to lead • Proactive and able to work independently, applying a structured and systematic approach • Strong communication skills and the ability to ask relevant questions and provide thorough explanations • Ability to organize large amounts of information into a coherent and meaningful format while working on multiple prospects simultaneously • Ability to deliver high quality work on time • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary / multinational environment • Excellent managerial skills • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in the organization • Able to work in an organised, analytical and process improvement driven manner • Extensive knowledge and experience in planning industrial EPC projects and construction only projects • Familiarity with requirements of Oil & Gas sector major project delivery processes • Knowledge of planning tools such as Primavera P6 • Fluent in English (oral and written) Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion BW Offshore is committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all.
