Technical Support Engineer (Partial discharge testing)

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Able to perform partial discharge services on electrical assets like switchgear, Transformers, Power Cables, and GIS

2. Able to do Partial Discharge analysis and provide the analysis report for customers.

3. Able to install and maintain online Partial Discharge monitoring system.

4. To provide partial discharge training for customer （on-site/web training）

5. Able to work independently and to travel around the different countries (if needed) to perform services.

6. Technical support (pre & post-sales). Answering technical questions, demonstrating, and responding to the biddings on the technical portion.

7. Review and revise product manuals, database, Product Catalogue, Brochure, etc.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

1. Bachelor’s holder in electrical engineering (EE) or higher

2. At lease has 6-8 years’ Partial discharge testing experience with medium/high voltage power equipment (GIS, Transformers, Switchgear, Power Cables, etc.) and their insulation failures.

3. Self-motivated, good teamwork and communication skills

4. Advanced Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
