Automation Engineer / Specialist (Programming / Scripting / Banking Domain)

We are looking to hire a motivated Automation Engineer / Specialist in Singapore to support our client, a top global investment bank. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining automation solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce manual efforts, and improve system performance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement automation using programming or scripting (such as Python) or other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with teams to identify automation opportunities in workflows, systems, and processes.
• Design, test, and maintain automation frameworks for software, infrastructure, or operational tasks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues to ensure seamless execution.
• Document automation processes, best practices, and technical solutions for future reference.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Possess at least 6 months to 1 year of automation / programming related experience
• Knowledge of any automation programming or scripting language (for eg. Python)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for automation.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Eagerness to learn and apply new technologies in automation and system optimization.
