Security Manager – Job Description
The Security Manager is responsible for the overall planning, management, and supervision of security operations to ensure the safety and protection of personnel, property, and assets. The role ensures that security services are delivered effectively, professionally, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
l Oversee daily security operations across assigned sites.
l Supervise, manage, and lead Security Supervisors and Security Officers.
l Plan manpower deployment, duty rosters, and operational coverage.
l Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, and SOPs.
l Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
l Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
l Liaise with clients, management, and relevant authorities on security matters.
l Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and company standards.
l Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluation of security personnel.
l Handle emergency situations and ensure proper incident response.
Requirements:
l Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
l Good knowledge of security operations and procedures.
l Ability to handle incidents and make operational decisions.
l Good communication and report-writing skills.
l Relevant security license and certifications (as required).
