System Administrator (Network & Endpoint Protection Engineer)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Palo Alto firewalls and Global Protect VPN configurations.

• Configure, monitor, and support AWS networking components (e.g., VPCs, Security Groups, Route Tables, NAT Gateways, Load Balancers).

• Support endpoint protection solutions, access controls, and network security policies.

• Respond to network-related incidents and service requests in alignment with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, and Problem Management).

• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and cloud teams to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for system configurations, procedures, and change records.

• Communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders to support operational needs.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Networking, Information Security, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.

• Experience configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls and GlobalProtect VPN.

• Familiarity with AWS networking services (e.g., VPC, Security Groups, Route Tables, NAT Gateway, Load Balancers).

• Basic understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident, Change, and Problem Management.

• Foundational experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).

• Strong collaboration, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)

• Relevant certifications in networking or cloud technologies (e.g., CCNA, PCNSA, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or equivalent).

• Certification in AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or networking technologies.

• Experience with endpoint protection tools and security policy implementation.
