Systems Engineer (VMware)

Job responsibilities:

• Install, configure and manage VMware vSphere environments
• Knowledge or experience of VMware NSX/NSX-T
• Install, configure and maintain VM and VM template lifecycle
• Work on Incidents, Service Requests/Change Requests and Root Cause Analysis
• Work on migrations and upgrades/downgrades
• Improve ways of working by scripting repetitive and mundane tasks
• Open to learn and use automation using PowerShell/PowerCLI and Bash

Key requirements:

• VMware vCenter
• VMware ESXi
• Windows Server
• PowerShell/PowerCLI

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• At least 6 years’ relevant experience preferably in a Finance Institution.
• Analytical thinking, problem solver, team player.
