Senior Unix Systems Engineer (Central/ 24/7 rotating shifts / Attractive Bonus)

We are seeking a Senior Unix Systems Engineer. Responsible for administering, maintaining, and optimizing Unix and Linux environments to ensure high availability, security, and performance of mission-critical production systems supporting online payment services.

Responsibility:

• Manage and support Solaris and Linux servers across production, DR, and test environments
• Perform system upgrades, patching, OS hardening, and security implementations
• Monitor system health, capacity, performance, and infrastructure obsolescence
• Implement backup, archiving, and disaster recovery strategies, including regular DR testing
• Provide Level 2/3 incident and problem resolution in line with SLAs
• Execute change and release activities following change management procedures
• Maintain system documentation and configuration records
• Support projects and provide on-call support for critical production services

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Unix/Linux system administration
• Experience with SAN storage, backup, monitoring tools, and scripting
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills
• Unix/Linux certifications required; cloud certifications preferred
• Able to support 24/7 shift operations, including weekends and public holidays.
