Engineer / Senior Engineer – Infrastructure (2 Years Contract)

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor system health, including OS, applications, and backup logs, and ensure optimal performance

• Perform software distribution, OS patching, and generate patch status reports

• Liaise with appointed agents, vendors, or OEMs for troubleshooting or replacement of hardware and software

• Maintain accurate device configuration documentation, network/system documentation, and system inventory assets

• Plan and configure vulnerability scanning, generate vulnerability reports, and perform mitigation or patching as required

• Plan and configure backup jobs, monitor backup status, perform mitigation to resolve issues, and execute recovery jobs for approved change requests

• Troubleshoot network and application connectivity or performance issues

• Support change requests for certificate renewal, token key provisioning, and rule configuration for cybersecurity software
  

Technical & Functional Skill Sets

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline

• Engineer: Less than 3 years of relevant experience

• Senior Engineer: More than 3 years of relevant experience
• Virtualization: Nutanix, Hyper-V on Windows 11
• Cybersecurity Tools: Splunk Infrastructure Monitoring, Tenable Nessus
• Hardware: F5 appliances
• Backup Tools: Veritas NetBackup (NBU)
• Operating Systems: Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Windows Server 2019 Datacenter
