Infrastructure Support Engineer (Permanent / Many openings)

About the Role

We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer / Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support the health, performance, and security of our systems and infrastructure. You will handle system monitoring, patching, backup management, vulnerability scanning, and troubleshooting for both network and applications.

Key Responsibilities

System Monitoring & Maintenance

• Monitor system health (Operating Systems, applications, backups) and performance

• Perform software distribution and OS patching; generate patch status reports

Vendor & Hardware Coordination

• Liaise with appointed agents, vendors, or OEMs for troubleshooting, repairs, or replacements

Documentation & Inventory

• Maintain and update device configuration documentation, network/system diagrams, and asset inventory lists

Vulnerability & Backup Management

• Plan and configure vulnerability scanning; generate reports and apply mitigation measures

• Plan and configure backup jobs; monitor status, resolve issues, and perform recovery tasks when approved

Troubleshooting & Support

• Perform network and application troubleshooting for system connectivity and performance

• Support change requests for certificate renewals, provisioning, token key provisioning, and rule configuration for cybersecurity tools

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

• Engineer: Less than 3 years of relevant experience

• Senior Engineer: 3+ years of relevant experience

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

• Able to work independently and collaborate with vendors and technical teams

Technical & Functional Skills

Virtualization: Nutanix, Hyper‑V on Windows 11

Infrastructure Monitoring: Splunk Infrastructure Monitoring

Vulnerability Scanning: Tenable Nessus

Hardware: F5 appliances

Backup Tools: Veritas NBU

Operating Systems: Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Windows Server 2019 Datacenter
