Devops Engineer

Job Description

·      We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team, focusing on the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust CI/CD pipelines and secure, scalable cloud infrastructure.

·       This role will support critical government digital initiatives, with a strong emphasis on automation, security, and reliable software delivery in the Singapore Public Sector environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

·      CI/CD and Automation Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using SHIP-HATS and GitLab CI/CD.

·       Optimise and streamline CI/CD tools and workflows to accelerate software delivery and improve development efficiency.

·       Collaborate closely with test automation and engineering teams to integrate best practices and streamline deployment processes.

·       Automate routine tasks and enhance pipeline workflows using scripting languages such as Bash or Python.

·       Infrastructure Management Manage and maintain cloud-based infrastructure, with experience in government or commercial cloud platforms preferred.

·       Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Monitor, detect, and resolve issues with associated infrastructure, including Docker Runners and other deployment components.

·      Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of infrastructure systems. 

·      Security and Compliance Implement and maintain security controls for Salesforce-based applications throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.

·       Ensure compliance with government security standards and policies within all DevOps practices and tools. 

·      Integrate security scanning, vulnerability management, and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines.

·       Proactively address security vulnerabilities and adhere to governance frameworks relevant to the public sector. 

Required Skills & Experience 

·      Technical Expertise Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (preferably using SHIP-HATS, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools). 

·      Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

·       Hands-on experience with scripting and automation using Bash and/or Python. 

·      Experience in managing cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP). 

·      Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting in a DevOps environment. 

·      Understanding of security best practices and experience integrating security into CI/CD processes. 

·      Preferred Experience Experience working within the Singapore Public Sector or on government digital projects.

·       Familiarity with Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) environments and related compliance requirements.

·       Knowledge of Salesforce platform security and deployment practices is a strong advantage. 

·      Understanding of test automation integration within CI/CD workflows.
