Business Analyst (Contract)

Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to life insurance products, processes, and systems.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to translate business needs into functional specifications, BRDs, FRDs, and user stories.
• Support system enhancements across life insurance functions including policy administration, underwriting, claims, billing, and product lifecycle management.
• Perform process analysis and gap assessments to identify improvement opportunities and support solution design.
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) planning, execution, defect tracking, and resolution to ensure solution quality.
• Ensure delivered solutions comply with regulatory, operational, and business standards applicable to life insurance.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Insurance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst within the life insurance domain.
• Strong understanding of life insurance products and operations, including policy administration, underwriting, claims, and billing.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation (BRD, FRD, user stories).
• Familiarity with policy administration systems (PAS) and insurance-related applications.
• Experience supporting UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements applicable to life insurance.
