IT Business Analyst / West

We are looking for a IT Business Analyst to support IT projects within the Enterprise IT division, with a strong focus on student-centric systems. This role works closely with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements, documentation, and coordination are well managed—especially across legacy and modern systems.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with experience in IT project coordination, system analysis, and platform transition projects within complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a IT Analyst for multiple IT projects within the Enterprise IT team

• Gather, analyse, and document project and system requirements independently

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project information is accurate and up-to-date

• Provide project administration and coordination support across project lifecycles

• Assist project managers with documentation, tracking, and coordination activities

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related discipline

• Min. 2 years of experience in IT project coordination, system analysis, or related roles

• Experience supporting system integration or interfacing projects

• Prior involvement in platform migration or legacy-to-new system transitions is highly advantageous

• Understanding of Agile and Waterfall development methodologies

• Familiarity with project management principles

• Exposure to:

○ Oracle technologies (PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports)

○ .NET framework

○ Low-code platforms, especially OutSystems

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Team-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently when required
