Job Summary
Responsible for network engineering and operations, including high-level network planning, design, optimization, and security management to ensure stable and secure network infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize network architecture and infrastructure to meet business and technical requirements
- Stabilize, monitor, and troubleshoot network hardware, software, and security devices such as firewalls and load balancers
- Define and implement best practices for deploying and operating network solutions to improve process efficiency and reliability
- Implement, maintain, and control network security, cloud security, identity, and access management systems
- Analyze network and security controls, recommend improvements, and ensure compliance with international and industry security standards and regulations
- Plan and support security design, remediation, and disaster recovery activities to minimize risk and ensure business continuity
- Respond to security incidents by conducting investigations and recovery actions
- Build and maintain network security architecture and optimize network operations for performance and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve network incidents effectively
- Develop mature statements of work and engage customers to identify and align business and technical requirements
- Monitor network performance, conduct capacity planning, and proactively recommend improvements
- Configure and manage internal and internet load balancing systems to optimize traffic flow
- Utilize Cisco routing and switching technologies, wireless technologies, routing protocols, and network diagramming tools to support network operations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related fields, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of networking experience, including at least 2 years in network security and design/architecture
- Proficiency in collaboration, wireless, SDN, SD-WAN, and application delivery networking technologies
- Strong communication skills in English and Chinese, both written and verbal
- Cisco certifications such as CCNP or CCIE are preferred
