Senior Finance Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly and annual financial closing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Collaborate with Accounts Manager and accounting team to prepare monthly financial and management reports and annual budgets
• Prepare and analyze monthly P&L reports, including budget-versus-actual and gross profit analyses, to inform business decisions
• Support financial forecasting, corporate planning, and resource allocation aligned with growth objectives
• Develop and implement action plans based on financial and operational performance analyses to enhance business outcomes
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and corporate governance requirements
• Liaise with external auditors, corporate secretaries, and Japanese headquarters to coordinate statutory and internal audits and financial reporting
• Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents, and respond to inquiries from auditors and headquarters stakeholders
• Establish and improve accounting workflows, documentation, and invoice procedures to standardize processes
• Support enhancement of internal control systems and operational governance
• Coordinate with Singapore government agencies (SFA, MOM, JTC) to ensure regulatory compliance and smooth operations
• Support financial and operational management of the central kitchen and food manufacturing business
• Collaborate with Head of Central Kitchen to monitor operational KPIs, production efficiency, and profitability
• Prepare financial data, P&L materials, accounts receivable reports, invoicing, and operational reports related to manufacturing and food operations
• Coordinate with OEM manufacturing partners, suppliers, equipment vendors, and F&B stakeholders on operational and financial matters
• Support business expansion and operational improvement initiatives within food manufacturing and F&B sectors
• Act as key liaison between Singapore office and Japan headquarters to ensure communication and operational alignment
• Support strategic corporate planning, including long-term business planning and operational transformation projects
• Provide Japanese-English/Chinese translation and interpretation for meetings, emails, reports, and corporate documents
• Facilitate collaboration among multicultural stakeholders and integrate Japanese corporate management practices with local operations
• Assist management with ad-hoc projects, reporting, and business initiatives as needed

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance with equivalent disciplines
• Passion or experienced in food manufacturing is an advantage
