MANAGER, PRC FINANCIAL REPORTING

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for preparing financial reporting, relevant disclosures and other daily operating reports to meet the requirements of the parent.
• Responsible for converting monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements from Singapore GAAP into China GAAP for the Group.
• Follow up on new accounting standard adopted under SFRS and China GAAP.
• Timely submission of various periodic reporting including quarterly reporting/announcement and annual statutory/management reporting requirements.
• Prepare, review and analyses consolidated financial results.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors from parent company, communicate on key audit matters and minimize audit differences and adjustments; cooperating with internal audits, self-assessment etc.
• Support the finance team with relevant accounting standards, laws and regulations that may affect the reporting process
• Liaise with parent company accounting department and ensure relevant asset & equity transactions complies with asset management policies/procedures.
• Translation of documents into both English and Chinese languages on demand.
• Any ad-hoc management reports and duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking, CPA/ACCA or equivalent.
• Familiar with China SOE/SSE requirements on compliances and reporting.
• Familiar with China GAAP and IFRS.
• At least 5 years’ related working experience in finance reporting.
• Audit firm work experience is a plus.
• High attention to details.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PPT, Word.
• Proficient bilingual written and verbal communication skills as one needs to manage our English and Chinese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
• Team player with strong analytical skill.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
