Equipment Engineering Manager

Overview / Responsibilities

• Execute Equipment Group work scope in accordance with applicable Project Procedures and Standards
• Review Datasheets, Material requisitions for the defined static equipment
• Review of Vendor’s quotations, prepare Technical Bid Evaluations and recommend the final technically acceptable Vendor
• Review of Vendor Drawings and Documentation as per relevant Technical Practices
• Coordinate with inter-discipline staff on all technical issues to arrive at appropriate resolution
• Correspond with the Vendor on technical matters and ensure that action is taken where necessary
• Thermal Design of Heat Exchangers will be an added advantage

Skills / Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 15-20 years of experience in Refinery / Petrochemical / Chemical projects
• Knowledge of Static Process equipment
• Well versed with international codes & standards
• Well versed with Static Equipment software like Pvelite, Tank
• Possess good interpersonal skill with sound written & oral communication skills
• Highly motivated, well organized, resourceful and proactive
• 12+ years’ experience in refinery, petrochemical, chemical, power, or pharmaceutical projects
• Proven leadership in design and engineering teams for FEED, PMC, and EPCM projects
• Strong knowledge of engineering procedures, specifications, and standards
• Ability to lead and motivate multi-discipline teams
