Software & Application Developer for ABB 800xA DCS System & IT/OT Cyber security assistance

Job Summary

You will develop and maintain control system software for water treatment projects, including ABB DCS and Inductive Ignition SCADA systems, supporting construction sites and ongoing maintenance while contributing to office software and cybersecurity initiatives during project downtimes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement graphic and software solutions on ABB DCS system "800xA" to support water treatment projects
• Analyze and apply comprehensive knowledge of full DCS structure to ensure effective system integration and operation
• Adapt to construction site environments and manage extended work hours to meet project deadlines
• Plan and manage travel time efficiently to Tuas WRP site located at the far west end of Singapore
• Execute SCADA project and maintenance tasks at PUB waterworks sites as assigned
• Apply familiarity with Inductive Ignition SCADA to support project requirements and maintenance activities
• Assist with office-based software development and cybersecurity projects during project cooling periods

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Must have experienced with ABB 800xA system and proof of past project experience
• Experience working with Inductive Ignition SCADA systems
• Willingness to obtain Core Certificate for Inductive Ignition SCADA

Commitment

• Project is 3 years and applicant is minimum 2 years to commit to stay under the same employment
• Nature of construction project and long travel hours, ad hoc working hours to be expected.
