Senior Engineer (Motor Technology & AI-Driven Product) - 1 Year Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Senior Engineer who will play a pivotal role in the research, design, and development of next-generation, patentable motor technologies, contributing to our advanced motor technology initiatives and future AI-driven product platforms. You will work within a dynamic team, driving technical direction and developing full end-to-end motor product pipelines with a strong emphasis on innovation and intellectual property generation.

Job Responsibilities

1. Lead the research, design, and development of next-generation, patentable motor technologies.
2. Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering and research teams to strengthen advanced motor technology initiatives and future AI-driven product platforms.
3. Define and execute a distinct technical direction focused on developing innovative, beyond near-to-market motor solutions, emphasizing innovation, long-term differentiation, and intellectual property generation.
4. Engage in the co-development of a full end-to-end motor product development pipeline, integrating diverse capabilities such as motor design and parameter optimization, magnetic material evaluation and application, multiphysics simulation, thermal analysis, and comprehensive thermal management.

Key Requirements

• Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience. We are also open to considering fresh graduates with exceptional skills and qualifications.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in JMAG, ANSYS, MATLAB, and other modeling and simulation tools.
• Analytical Ability: Strong understanding of material trade-offs impacting efficiency, cost, manufacturability, and reliability in motor design.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to develop or guide AI-assisted design, optimization, or simulation workflows.

• Leadership (good to have): Experience leading technology transfer or internalizing capabilities from external partners is a strong advantage.

Required Qualifications

• A PhD or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Proficient in computer literacy.
