Job Summary

NTT DATA is looking for a Senior IT Test Manager to lead end-to-end testing delivery for large-scale banking system transformation initiatives. The role involves managing system and UAT testing, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and governing vendor-led testing delivery to ensure high-quality outcomes in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end testing activities across banking applications to ensure comprehensive coverage and quality assurance
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate functionality and compliance with business requirements
• Manage and coordinate external testing vendors and delivery partners to align testing efforts with project timelines and quality standards
• Track testing progress, identify risks, log defects and issues, and communicate status updates effectively to stakeholders for informed decision-making
• Ensure all testing activities comply with IT governance, risk management, and audit requirements to maintain regulatory standards
• Collaborate closely with application, infrastructure, and business teams to synchronize testing schedules and resolve dependencies
• Support delivery methodologies including Agile and Waterfall to adapt testing processes to project needs and enhance delivery efficiency

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT testing, including at least 5 years in a Test Manager or Test Lead role
• Proven experience in Banking or Financial Services environments
• Demonstrated expertise in system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Experience managing vendor-led testing delivery

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Strong communication skills applied to stakeholder engagement and leadership in testing projects
• Effective stakeholder management skills to coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners
• Leadership skills to drive testing teams towards successful delivery and continuous improvement

Skills :

• Should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing projects in Banking and Finance domain
• Strong domain knowledge in Customer Management (CRM) and Credit Origination. Experience in managing testing one or more areas of these domains will be an advantage
• Experience in various testing tool suites like Tosca, Selenium, JIRA, Query Surge, HP UFT/QTP, Loadrunner/Performance Center/Sitescope, HP ALM / Quality Center, etc.
