Job Description
We own and govern the core IP, technology stack, firmware, software platforms, and data architectures behind our smart water & electrical meters, IoT systems, and digital platforms operating across Southeast Asia.
Our mission is to build, protect, and scale defensible technology assets that power multiple operating subsidiaries and regional markets. We are seeking a strategic and hands-on IT Manager to lead the development, protection, and commercialization of our technology and IP portfolio.
You will be responsible not only for engineering execution, but also for IP strategy, architecture governance, OEM co-development, and long-term technology roadmap alignment with investors and regulators.
Key Responsibilities
Technology & Architecture
Define and own the technology architecture for smart meters, IoT devices, firmware, cloud platforms, and mobile/web applications
Oversee development of:
Embedded firmware & device software
Backend platforms, APIs, data pipelines
Mobile apps and dashboards
Ensure scalability, cybersecurity, data integrity, and performance across markets
Requirements
Must-Have
10+ years of experience in software, firmware, IoT, or systems engineering
Proven experience as IT Manager, Head of Engineering, or Technical Lead
Strong understanding of:
Embedded systems / firmware
IoT architectures (LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, LTE-M, cloud platforms)
API-driven and modular system design
Experience working with OEMs or hardware manufacturers
Solid grasp of IP ownership, licensing, and co-development risks
Comfortable operating at both boardroom and code-review levels
Good to Have
Experience in smart meters, utilities, energy, water, or proptech
Exposure to regulated markets (utilities, data protection, compliance)
Startup or scale-up experience with investor interaction
Familiarity with Singapore and Southeast Asia tech ecosystems
