Job Description
Job Summary
Support the planning, design, implementation, management and troubleshooting of wired and wireless networking solutions over fibre optic networks, driving project success and customer satisfaction in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design and implement wired and wireless networking solutions over fibre optic and ethernet networks to meet customer requirements
- Conduct maintenance of customer networks and participate in after-office network support.
- Lead Proof of Concept testing, optimise network infrastructure, and manage customer acceptance tests to validate solutions
- Maintain service levels and escalation KPIs to provide high availability levels.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and engineers to foster knowledge sharing and innovation
- Conduct technical training and presentations for internal teams, channel partners, and customers to support pre-sales and confidence-building activities
- Maintain discipline in administrative tasks including completing meeting minutes, attendance logs, time sheets, service reports, and trouble ticket entries within specified timeframes
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of internal work areas and customer sites to uphold professional standards
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in the info-communications, technology, system integration, or telecommunications industries
- Minimum 3 years’ Information Technology experience in the Enterprise arena
- Degree in Telecommunications or Information Technology
- May consider work-study program
- CCNP or equivalent certification is required; CCIE or equivalent certification is advantageous
- Skilled in Wireshark capturing and interpretation
- Experience working in the ASEAN region and willingness to travel as required
- Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills across organizational levels
- Resilience as a team member in a matrix environment to work under high pressure, multitask, and adapt in fast-paced environments such as construction
- Willingness to work after office hours, weekends, and overtime to meet customer needs
