About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Application Engineer (FAE) to serve as the primary technical expert and problem-solver for our distributors and end-users in Singapore and the surrounding region. This is a critical role focused on ensuring customer satisfaction, product reliability, and continuous improvement of our cutting-edge medical devices.
Key Responsibilities:
Post-Sales Technical Support & Problem Resolution
Respond rapidly to complex technical inquiries and issues from distributors and end-users.
Develop and maintain detailed technical reports, case studies, and knowledge base articles.
Technical Collaboration & Product Optimization
Work closely with R&D and Quality Assurance teams to provide structured field feedback for product improvements.
Analyze post-market failure trends to propose preventive maintenance strategies.
Distributor Technical Enablement
Train and coach distributor technical teams on product functionality, troubleshooting, and repair procedures.
Develop clear and standardized technical documentation, including FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and best practice manuals.
Customer Relationship Management
Participate in technical meetings with key clients and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
Coordinate internal resources to resolve complex technical and logistical issues efficiently.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3 years of experience as a Field Application Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or similar customer-facing technical role.
- Hands-on experience with hardware/software troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and technical documentation.
- Proven ability to proactively identify problems, take ownership, and drive solutions to completion.
- Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and action-oriented mindset.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform effectively under pressure.
