Quantity Surveyor

A Day in The Life • Prepare tender cost estimates and tender documentation for construction projects and ensure that accuracy and competitiveness is maintained • Liaise with internal stakeholders, such as project managers, to gather relevant information for estimates • Analyse drawings, project specifications and other documentation to prepare quantity take-offs accurately • Analyse project requirements and specifications and other relevant documents to identify cost drivers and potential risks • Assist in the preparation of tender submissions and proposals • Maintain an updated database of cost information (e.g. unit rates, labour costs and material costs for projects) • Conduct site measurements when required and update cost plans during project development processes • Manage procurement process and cost control • Prepare variation order claims and progress claims • Assist to finalize project accounts What We Are Looking For: • Diploma/Degree holder in Quantity Survey, Contracts Management or related field • Strong analytical and numerical skills with a high level of accuracy • Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving abilities • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines • Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in interior fit-out • Prior experience in Interior Design/Renovation industries is an added advantage • Team player with initiative, self-drive and independence • Good interpersonal and communication skills
