Job Descriptions:

Plan and design CCTV network architecture and effective surveillance coverage
Install, configure, and commission IP cameras, DVRs/NVRs, video management systems (VMS), and associated hardware/software
Configure and maintain routers, switches, VLANs, VPNs, and PoE networks supporting camera infrastructure
Establish high-availability VPN connectivity across multiple CCTV sites
Monitor CCTV and network performance, diagnose issues, and perform proactive maintenance
Apply firmware updates, security patches, and resolve vulnerabilities in network devices
Work alongside CCTV, access control, and IoT teams to integrate solutions into wider security platforms
Perform site surveys, risk assessments, and recommend enhancements
Maintain detailed documentation and network topology diagrams
Train clients and internal teams on CCTV system operation, maintenance, and security best practices
Ensure adherence to standards such as ONVIF, NSI, MOI SSD, and local regulations

Job Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field
Certifications: Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), CompTIA Security+, Hikvision, Axis, Milestone, or equivalent
3–7 years in CCTV system deployment and network engineering
Proven expertise in configuring IP-camera systems and video surveillance infrastructure

Technical Skills Requirements:

Networking: TCP/IP, VLAN, PoE, WAN/LAN, QoS, VPN, multicast routing, HA protocols (VRRP, HSRP)
Security technologies: IPSec, UTM, firewalls, and cybersecurity best practices
Proficiency with Wireshark/sniffer tools and Linux environments
Experience with any CCTV platforms: Dahua, Hikvision, Uniview, Hikcentral, Bosch, Milestone will be added advantage
