Responsibilities:

• Lead design and development of generator set enclosures (acoustic, thermal, safety, structural).
• Manage full product lifecycle: concept, prototyping, testing, validation, manufacturing release.
• Work with manufacturing, supply chain, and vendors to optimize cost, durability, and manufacturability.
• Oversee enclosure testing (acoustics, vibration, thermal, IP/weatherproof).
• Use CAD/CAE tools for 3D design, and review CFD/FEA analysis.
• Drive design improvements and best practices.
• Support pre-sales engineering: concept design, technical feasibility, drawings, documentation.
• Collaborate with sales, application, procurement, and production teams.
• Manage engineering schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Mentor team members and support customization for project needs.
• Perform any other assigned tasks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Engineering, Business, Marketing or equivalent
• 5 years in product design & manufacturing.
• Strong experience in sheet metal design, acoustics, thermal management, structural analysis.
• Proficient in CAD (SolidWorks / Creo / NX).
• Knowledge of fabrication processes, coatings, corrosion protection.
