About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Dredging Technical Engineer to oversee electrical systems, dredging operations support, and marine project coordination across regional operations. The role focuses on technical oversight, operational planning, troubleshooting management, and coordination of electrical activities related to dredging and marine construction projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, vessel teams, subcontractors, and management to ensure smooth and efficient operational performance across Singapore and overseas projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical operations and technical support for dredging and marine construction projects

• Coordinate maintenance planning, troubleshooting activities, and operational readiness of dredging-related electrical systems and equipment

• Monitor project operations and provide technical guidance to site teams, vendors, and subcontractors

• Support dredging operations through electrical system planning, operational coordination, and technical problem resolution

• Coordinate with vessel teams, shipyards, suppliers, and project personnel on electrical and operational matters

• Ensure compliance with operational safety standards, marine regulations, and project requirements

• Review technical specifications, maintenance reports, operational records, and electrical documentation

• Assist management in planning equipment upgrades, project mobilization, and operational improvements

• Support procurement planning for electrical equipment, spare parts, and technical services

• Conduct site inspections, operational reviews, and technical assessments across regional project locations

• Liaise with overseas project teams and provide cross-border operational support when required

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or related discipline

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in marine construction, dredging operations, or heavy industrial projects

• Strong experience overseeing electrical operations and project coordination within dredging or marine environments

• Proven cross-border working experience supporting regional operations and project sites

• Good understanding of dredging workflows, marine operational requirements, and industrial electrical systems

• Strong leadership, coordination, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

• Able to work independently and manage multiple operational priorities

• Willing to travel overseas for project coordination and operational support

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in dredging, reclamation, or marine infrastructure projects within Southeast Asia

• Familiarity with marine operational compliance and project management practices

• Experience coordinating with shipyards, contractors, and marine operational teams

• Knowledge of industrial automation, PLC systems, SMS systems, and power distribution systems is advantageous
