Responsibilities

• Lead full sets of accounts, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and SFRS standards across financial reporting.
• Review journals and key reconciliations, including bank, inventory, and intercompany transactions.
• Manage corporate income tax and GST matters, including ECI, Form C, and related tax schedules.
• Review transfer pricing documentation, CbCR, CFC, and tax haven reports.
• Oversee withholding tax compliance and liaise with IRAS on Certificates of Residence and ad-hoc matters.
• Evaluate corporate tax and GST implications for domestic and cross-border transactions.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, including JSOX internal control compliance.
• Support system implementation projects, RPA initiatives, and digital transformation efforts.

Requirements

• Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience handling full sets of accounts and statutory reporting.
• Hands-on experience with AS/400, SAP, MYOB, QuickBooks, and MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
• Solid working knowledge of corporate income tax, GST, and cross-border tax matters.
• Exposure to system implementation projects and RPA solutions is an added advantage.
