IT Business Analyst (JD#11040)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join a dynamic banking environment in Singapore. The role involves gathering and analyzing business requirements, coordinating with IT and stakeholders across the full SDLC, supporting testing activities, and delivering enterprise-wide digital solutions across multiple business lines

Mandatory Skill-set

• Minimum 9 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in banking or financial services environments;
• Must  have experience across the full SDLC, including requirements gathering, testing, deployment, and support;
• Proven experience coordinating between business users and distributed IT teams;
• Must have strong business process analysis and requirement management skills;
• Must have experience in writing test documents, executing functional testing, SIT, and UAT coordination;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with risk assessment capabilities;
• Proficiency in SQL and handling complex database queries;
• Experience with flow diagram creation and business process modelling;
• Ability to prepare datasets for analysis and validation;
• Hands-on experience with UI/UX concepts and mock-up creation using Figma;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and JIRA;
• Strong banking domain knowledge.

Desired Skill-set

• Knowledge of performance testing tools and methodologies;
• Ability to understand or communicate in French.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with business stakeholders, onshore IT teams, and development teams to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements;
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, use cases, process flows, and solution documentation;
• Coordinate with development teams to ensure alignment between business expectations and delivered solutions;
• Prepare and maintain project artefacts including functional specifications, test strategies, test cases, user guides, and operating procedures;
• Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities with business users;
• Identify, prepare, and validate test datasets for functional and data analysis purposes;
• Monitor project progress, communicate status updates, and escalate risks or issues to project stakeholders and project managers;
• Support project planning, scheduling, milestones, and coordination activities;
• Provide L2/L3 production support and troubleshoot data anomalies or system inconsistencies;
• Perform data analysis using SQL queries and support data validation activities;
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and internal banking policies and standards.
