Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced

Senior Data Center Engineer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in data centre operations, infrastructure support, and on-site technical execution. You will be responsible for supporting critical data centre activities and ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities

  • Perform data centre operations and infrastructure support activities.

  • Handle server racking, stacking, mounting, and decommissioning.

  • Carry out structured cabling, labeling, patching, and cable management.

  • Support hardware installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

  • Coordinate with internal teams and clients for project execution.

  • Monitor and maintain data centre equipment and infrastructure.

  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational procedures.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of activities, inventory, and changes.

  • Provide smart hands / remote hands support as required.

  • Assist in incident resolution and escalation management.

  • Support migration, rollout, and upgrade activities in data centre environments.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in data centre operations or infrastructure support.

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of server hardware, cabling, and rack management.

  • Good understanding of data centre best practices and operational standards.

  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, or after-hours when required.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in enterprise data centres or managed service environments.

  • Exposure to smart hands support, remote hands, and field support services.

  • Knowledge of basic networking and storage infrastructure.

  • Experience supporting customer-facing infrastructure projects.
