About Our Client

Our client is a well-established U.S. financial institution providing banking, lending, and investment services to individuals and businesses.

Job Description

  • Support the development and delivery of APAC regulatory reporting requirements, with primary focus on the China One Reporting Project and related regional initiatives.
  • Contribute to the build-out and enhancement of the strategic Axiom regulatory reporting infrastructure supporting APAC reporting obligations.
  • Translate regulatory and business requirements into clear, well-defined user stories and functional specifications for regulatory reporting modules.
  • Partner closely with technology teams through Agile/Scrum methodologies to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of requirements.
  • Analyze regulatory guidance and provide subject matter expertise to inform reporting design, constructively challenging existing approaches to ensure full regulatory compliance.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce operational risk by minimizing manual processes and implementing automated or interim solutions using tools such as Alteryx and Power BI where system solutions are unavailable.
  • Support project delivery through thorough documentation of processes, controls, assumptions, and key decisions, enabling effective handover to regulatory reporting and BAU teams.
  • Maintain adherence to internal risk and control frameworks and regulatory reporting policies through well-defined procedures and controls

The Successful Applicant

  • Deep knowledge of core regulatory and financial reporting responsibilities and outputs (capital & liquidity, financial & statistical, core financial reporting) for APAC regions, plus broad knowledge of the financial services industry, products, and services.
  • Axiom experience preferred
