Job Description
Goal of Position
This role will drive key operational and strategic projects within the Finance & IT function, working closely with the Regional CEO and Senior Management Team to ensure financial excellence and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage operational and strategic projects as well as cross-functional initiatives within the Finance & IT function across the Asia/Pacific region.
- Support the Regional CEO and Senior Management Team of Finance & IT Asia/Pacific in steering business performance and regional strategic direction.
- Provide reliable, accurate, and timely financial data to empower the Finance & IT Senior Management team to make value-driven decisions supporting the company’s overall strategic growth.
- Monitor the execution of action plans and follow-up measures to achieve financial targets and optimize key financial metrics including cost/benefit ratios and working capital.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and special analyses across various business levels, including units, divisions, and product lines.
- Track and report financial progress and target achievement (actual vs. budget).
- Assist in building and continuously improving effective regional and local finance structures aligned with group processes.
- Coordinate and support the preparation of comprehensive regional budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with business plans and accuracy.
- Contribute to achieving group financial targets at regional, sub-regional, legal entity, plant, and functional levels.
- Support monthly closing processes for legal entities within the region.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in matrix organizations and international corporate groups, preferably in industrial manufacturing.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with meticulous attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Proficient in SAP ERP and advanced MS Office applications.
- At least 2 years hands-on project management experience managing transformation, change initiatives, or complex transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of finance structures and group processes to drive effective financial planning, reporting accuracy, and alignment with corporate strategic goals.
- Excellent business partnering and stakeholder management skills, with ability to translate financial data into actionable recommendations.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Willingness to travel as required.
