Role Summary
Unbottled is looking for a Community, Social & Video Lead who is equally comfortable behind the camera, on the shop floor, and inside comment sections.
This role owns the voice, presence, and day-to-day visibility of Unbottled across social platforms and physical retail moments. You are not a strategist, and you are not a passive poster — you are a culture operator who captures moments, publishes them fast, and builds real relationships with our community.
Reporting Line
Reports to: Creative Lead
Core Responsibilities
1. Short-Form Video Capture & Creation
You will:
Film short-form video content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) in stores and on location
Capture organic moments: queues, drops, staff interactions, customers, events
Edit and publish fast-turnaround content (same-day or next-day)
Maintain a consistent visual and tonal standard aligned with the Unbottled brand
You are not expected to produce cinematic content.
You are expected to produce culturally relevant, timely, human content.
2. Social Media Publishing
You will:
Publish content across Instagram and TikTok (primary platforms)
Write captions in the Unbottled voice
Maintain a consistent posting cadence
Coordinate content timing with drops, launches, and store activations.
3. Community Engagement & Relationship Building
You will:
Actively engage with comments and DMs
Respond in a brand-appropriate, human, and thoughtful voice
Recognise recurring community members
Turn customers into recurring characters and contributors
Bridge online community members into physical store experiences
This is a relationship role, not a customer service role.
4. Store ↔ Content Bridge
You will:
Be physically present during peak periods, launches, and activations
Coordinate with store teams to capture content moments
Help staff feel comfortable on camera (without forcing them)
Identify high-energy moments worth documenting
5. Feedback & Insight Loop
You will:
Surface recurring questions, language, and sentiment from the community
Flag content themes that resonate
Share qualitative insights with the Creative Lead, and Product Designer
You are one of the brand’s primary listening posts.

Required Skills & Experience
You should:
Be confident filming on a phone or handheld camera
Be comfortable editing short-form video
Understand Instagram and TikTok culture deeply
Communicate clearly and naturally in writing
Be comfortable interacting with people in real life
Have strong taste and cultural awareness
Retail or lifestyle brand experience is a plus, but not required.
