A Telco firm is looking for a 1 year contract for a Agentic AI finance transformation manager 

Your new role

• Define and maintain a multi‑year Finance & Agentic AI Transformation roadmap aligned with CFO and enterprise digital strategy.
• Assess current finance processes, data, and systems to identify high‑value opportunities for AI agents (e.g., autonomous invoice processing, collections agents, close and reconciliation agents, forecasting and planning copilots).
• Lead end‑to‑end discovery of finance transformation initiatives that combine RPA/workflows with agentic AI platforms all the way through to build business case & high-level solution.
• Design target operating models and “human‑in‑the‑loop” controls for AI agents, including roles, responsibilities, escalation paths, and exception‑handling processes.
• Partner with Data, IT, and Risk to ensure the right data foundations, governance, security, and model risk management are in place for AI solutions.
• Define and track KPIs and value metrics for AI‑enabled finance (e.g., STP rates, working capital impact, close cycle reduction, forecast accuracy uplift, manual effort reduction).
• Design framework for monitoring performance of deployed agents, continuous improvement, and prioritize backlog enhancements and new use cases based on value and risk.
• Global / Industry best practices for Agentic AI in finance and translates them into practical recommendations and pilots.

What you'll need to succeed

Your previous experience in a similar role will lead to your success, as you will ideally have:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; professional finance qualification (CPA, CA, CFA or equivalent) is a plus.
• ~10 years of experience in Finance, Finance Transformation, or Consulting, with a track record delivering process and/or technology change.
• Hands‑on experience shaping or delivering AI/analytics/RPA initiatives in finance (e.g., intelligent invoice capture, automated reconciliations, forecasting models, chat‑based finance assistants).
• Strong understanding of core finance processes (P2P, O2C, R2R, FP&A, treasury) and common ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.).
• Familiarity with modern AI concepts (GenAI, AI agents, orchestration, vector databases, prompt design, guardrails) and their implications for controls and governance.
• Proven program and project management skills, including managing cross‑functional teams and external partners.
