Senior Electrochemical Engineer (Battery Materials & Electrolyzer Systems)

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of electrochemical systems, including alkaline electrolyzers, electrodes, and integrated devices.
• Plan and support the development of lithium recycling process lines and electrochemical performance optimization activities.
• Design and execute experiments for electrochemical cell characterization, durability testing, and HER/OER studies in alkaline media.
• Develop, test, and fabricate novel electrodes, electrocatalysts, and assemblies; analyze data using electrochemical techniques.
• Manage and mentor a team of researchers and engineers, report project milestones, and collaborate across internal and external stakeholders.

Job Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience, in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on research experience in electrochemistry or electrochemical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrochemical principles, mass transport, electrolyzer systems, and data analysis techniques (e.g. EIS, voltammetry).
• Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams; experience with modeling tools, programming, advanced materials, or related electrochemical systems is an advantage.
