Cloud Operations Engineer (Cloud Ops & Managed Services)

Job Description

• Implement, maintain, and administer network, operating systems, storage, and backup environments
• Collaborate on system development activities, including design, implementation, integration, and testing
• Provide 24×7 on-call support on a rotating basis; implement corrective actions to resolve production issues and minimize unplanned system outages
• Create and maintain technical and operational documentation to support efficient planning and execution
• Coordinate with external vendors and customers to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including operating systems and networking
• Passionate about learning new technologies and eager to develop new skill sets
• Good team player with the ability to work independently
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Additional skills that are an advantage:

• Networking knowledge or CCNA certification
• VMware NSX
• Virtualization technologies (VMware, vSphere)
