Senior/Engineer, Test

Job Summary:

Test development, troubleshooting, and yield improvement initiatives, while supporting new product introduction (NPI) and ensuring robust, cost-effective test solutions.

Job Description:

• Develop, debug, and optimize test programs for semiconductor systems and modules
• Design, maintain, and improve test setups, fixtures, and automated test systems
• Create and review test plans, procedures, and specifications
• Perform and coordinate test fixture preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration activities
• Analyze test data to identify yield trends and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Troubleshoot test failures involving electrical, mechanical, vacuum, gas, or software-related issues
• Support NPI, product qualification, validation, and test correlation activities with customers
• Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Process, Quality, and Product Engineering teams
• Drive initiatives to improve yield, reduce test time, and optimize cost
• Train, mentor, and lead test technicians and junior engineers on testing methodologies
• Support customer audits, technical reviews, and failure analysis reporting
• Performing any other ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or test engineering
• Strong understanding of semiconductor devices, manufacturing processes, and test methodologies
• Hands-on experience with automated test systems and production test environments
• Proficient in interpreting electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical drawings
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
• Experience in training or mentoring technicians or junior engineers is an advantage
• Willingness to work on-site at Changi North Crescent
