CYBERSECURITY ENGINEER (ARCHITECT)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, architect, and deliver cybersecurity solutions for new and existing customers
• Develop secure network, cloud, and infrastructure architectures aligned with customer security requirements and industry best practices
• Lead implementation and integration of cybersecurity technologies including:
– Web Application Firewall (WAF) & DDoS Protection
– Cloud Security & Zero Trust Solutions
– Network Security & Segmentation Solutions
– Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR/XDR)
– Identity & Access Management (IAM) Solutions
– SIEM, SOC, and Security Monitoring Platforms
• Conduct security assessments, architecture reviews, and gap analysis for customer environments
• Design and present technical solution proposals, architecture diagrams, Proof of Concepts (POC), and Proof of Value (POV) demonstrations
• Provide technical consultancy and recommendations on cybersecurity strategies, governance, and risk mitigation
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cybersecurity and infrastructure-related issues
• Work closely with vendors, principals, project teams, and customers to ensure successful deployment and delivery
• Develop security best practices, technical documentation, implementation guides, and standard operating procedures
• Keep updated with emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and industry trends to enhance customer security posture

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, infrastructure security, or security architecture
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity domains such as network security, cloud security, endpoint security, IAM, and threat protection
• Experience in designing and implementing enterprise security solutions is preferred
• Familiarity with cybersecurity platforms such as Akamai, Fortinet, Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Security, Cisco Security, or similar solutions is an added advantage
• Knowledge of security frameworks and best practices such as Zero Trust, NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects under pressure
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, CCNP Security, or equivalent are an added advantage
