Junior Business Analyst

Role: Business Analyst
Duration: 12 Months (renewable)
Location: Singapore

Job Summary

We are seeking for a Business Analyst with 2–3 years of experience to support business and technology initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, improve processes, and assist in delivering system enhancements within the insurance domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
• Work with business users and IT teams to understand project needs
• Prepare documentation such as BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process flows
• Support system enhancement and digital initiatives
• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test case preparation and execution
• Track project progress and follow up on action items
• Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Ensure clear communication between business and technical teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field
• 2–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
• Preferably some exposure to insurance or financial services
• Basic understanding of SDLC (Agile/Waterfall)
• Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Excel, or Visio
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills

Good to Have

• Exposure to insurance systems (policy admin, claims, underwriting)
• Understanding of Singapore insurance regulatory environment
• Experience in UAT coordination or support
