- Must possess welding inspector certification of American Welding Society (AWS) or CSWIP 3.1 (Welding Inspector) certification.
- Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures for construction works, particularly chemical and industrial piping installation.
- Conduct inspections to ensure works comply with project specifications, drawings, codes, and quality standards.
- Prepare and manage Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), method statements, and quality records.
- Coordinate with project teams, clients, consultants, and third-party inspectors on quality matters.
- Monitor site workmanship and ensure corrective actions are taken for non-conformances.
- Prepare QA/QC reports, inspection records, and handover documentation.
- Support testing, flushing, pressure testing, and commissioning activities.
- Promote quality awareness and compliance on site.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related discipline.
- Preferably 2–5 years of relevant QA/QC experience in construction projects.
- Experience in piping systems, industrial or semiconductor projects is an advantage.
- Knowledge of QA/QC documentation, inspection procedures, and construction standards.
- Able to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
- Willing to work on construction sites.
