Senior QA Engineer (JD#10725)

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our Capital Market IT (CMI) solutions. You will collaborate with delivery teams to drive efficient testing, continuous improvement, and high-quality software for trading, risk management, and financial market systems.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or related fields;
• Must have 8+ years of relevant experience;
• Proficient in Python, Shell, PowerShell, and Java;
• Must have experience with testing automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, and Gitlab Runner;
• Must have hands-on experience with automation frameworks;
• Knowledge of Cloud platforms and DevOps tools;
• Skilled in QA methodologies, API, Micro-services, GUI, Load/Performance testing;
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, and Sybase. 

Desired Skill-set

• Strong understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles and experience in designing scalable microservices using Spring Boot;
• Exposure to Capital Markets applications and familiarity with related business processes and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software and specialised utility programs based on user requirements;
• Collaborate with business analysts and development teams to clarify requirements;
• Design and implement test plans, automated testing systems, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure quality and efficiency;
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing; analyze and report defects with recommendations;
• Support internal teams with technical issues, propose improvements, and contribute to data analysis;
• Document testing activities and prepare reports for management and delivery teams.
