Cloud and Hosting Engineer

We are looking for a Cloud & HostingEngineer to support enterprise cloud (Alicloud) and hybrid infrastructureacross the Asia Pacific region. This role combines cloud engineering, hostingoperations, and cloud infrastructure design, working closely with regionalteams and China-based stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a strong knowledgeof Alicloud, solid infrastructure background, an operational mindset, and agood overall understanding of cloud and on‑premise technologies.
Hands-on experience with AWS is nice to have, but it’s not a prerequisite.

Key Responsibilities

·      Design, deploy, and operatesecure and scalable infrastructure on Alicloud.

·      Strong knowledge onInfrastructure as Code practices (Terraform, CloudFormation, Alibaba ROS…)

·      Support cloud migrations andinfrastructure modernization initiatives

·      Monitor performance,troubleshoot incidents, and contribute to cost and reliability optimization

·      Ensure alignment with security,compliance, and governance standards

·      Work closely with global ITteams, vendors, and service providers across APAC, China and EMEA

Required Profile

·      Degree in IT, Computer Science,or related field

·      Strong overall knowledge of ITinfrastructure, with a global understanding of core technologies such asnetworking (LAN/WAN, routing, firewall concepts), servers, and virtualization

·      Experience in enterprisehosting or infrastructure operations

·      Strong experience on buildinglanding zone on Alicloud

·      AWS knowledge is a plus, butnot a prerequisite

·      Understanding of cloudprinciples, networking, and security concepts

·      Experience working with managedservice providers or outsourced IT operations

·      Strong communication skills andability to work in regional, multicultural teams

·      Fluent English and Mandarin(mandatory)
