Job responsibilities:

Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of complex infrastructure solutions, including compute, storage, networking, cloud platforms, and related technologies.
Develop and maintain infrastructure roadmaps, standards, policies, and best practices in alignment with business objectives and industry trends.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to infrastructure teams, overseeing project delivery from concept to production.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to improve efficiency, performance, security, and cost-effectiveness of our infrastructure.
Collaborate with various business units, application development teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical infrastructure designs.
Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of critical infrastructure components.
Ensure adherence to security best practices, compliance regulations, and bank’s internal governance frameworks.
Develop and review technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and operational procedures.
Act as a subject matter expert for complex infrastructure challenges and provide high-level technical support.
Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Key requirements:

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure architecture, with at least 3-5 years in a senior architect role within a large enterprise, preferably in the financial services sector.
Deep expertise in designing and implementing solutions across multiple infrastructure domains.
Cloud Platforms: Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (certifications highly desirable).
Virtualization & Containerization: VMware, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Docker.
Operating Systems: Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu), Windows Server.
Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Firewalls, Load Balancers (e.g., F5), SDN.
Storage: SAN, NAS, Object Storage, Backup & Recovery solutions.
Databases: Relational (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases.
Proven experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, data protection, and compliance frameworks (e.g., MAS TRM, ISO 27001).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to influence and drive change across teams.
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL, CISSP, Cloud Architect certifications) are a significant advantage.
