IT Cybersecurity Project Manager

Job Summary:

An experienced cybersecurity project manager to deliver secure IT projects, optimise execution, and ensure timely, high-quality outcomes for clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality technical and project support across multiple cybersecurity initiatives
• Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring scope, schedule, quality, and cost objectives are met
• Act as the primary escalation point to resolve complex client issues independently
• Define project objectives, deliverables, specifications, and success metrics in alignment with business goals
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and cost estimates
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and address risks or delays proactively
• Prepare and present accurate project status reports to senior technical leadership
• Coordinate internal technical teams and manage external vendors and partners
• Approve project expenditures and administer vendor and contractor agreements
• Design and oversee testing activities to validate solution performance
• Collaborate closely with commercial teams to drive timely project closure and meet professional services targets
• Negotiate timelines and scope adjustments with customers when project gaps or delays arise
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and records
• Escalate project risks and issues promptly to minimise impact on delivery

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT cybersecurity project management
• Proven experience managing small to mid-sized IT solution projects
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies, systems, and delivery processes
• Demonstrated ability to manage project schedules, budgets, vendor contracts, and stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• Ability to take ownership of projects and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams
