Job Summary
Lead and manage interior fit-out and construction projects by planning timelines, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and safety standards. Drive project progress through effective communication, resource allocation, and problem resolution.
Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule project timelines to ensure timely delivery of interior fit-out works and construction projects
- Monitor project costing and track work progress to maintain budget adherence and project milestones
- Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, sub-contractors, and suppliers to align project objectives and resolve issues
- Coordinate and instruct sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and high-quality workmanship
- Advise sub-contractors on construction methods to optimize project execution and compliance with standards
- Respond promptly to consultants’ and clients’ needs and requests, providing regular updates on project status
- Present detailed reports outlining project progress, challenges, and proposed solutions to all stakeholders
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation to support transparency and audit readiness
- Ensure resource availability and allocate manpower and materials efficiently to meet project demands
- Develop, monitor, and control project plans to deliver projects within defined timeframes and quality standards
- Prepare progress reports for internal management, customers, and other stakeholders reflecting current project status
- Lead and manage operational teams to achieve project objectives and performance targets
- Oversee project execution to ensure completion on time, within scope, and budget constraints
- Identify, analyze, and resolve potential project problems to maintain program effectiveness and continuity
- Enforce construction safety measures and ensure compliance with safety regulations at project sites
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in Building, Architecture, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in interior fit-out works or related construction industries
- Ability to interpret drawing conventions with attention to critical details
- Strong organizational, analytical, verbal, computer, and writing skills
- High level of self-motivation, professionalism, and integrity
