Job Description

We are partnered with an established financial institution to look for a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join a global team. Our client is a premier banking leader with a presence in 19 countries, dedicated to building sustainable, tech-driven solutions while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and excellence. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure across a multi-platform environment including AWS, GCP, and Azure. You will drive automation through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and ensure the efficiency and security of deployment processes through robust CI/CD pipelines. Key Responsibilities • Architect and manage multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure. • Lead the development and maintenance of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform. • Develop scripts in Bash and Python to supplement and enhance automation. • Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines utilizing Bitbucket and Jenkins. • Partner with development, operations, and security teams to align cloud solutions with business goals. • Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize for cost and operational efficiency. • Ensure full compliance with financial industry regulations and security standards. • Establish cloud governance policies, including resource allocation and identity management. • Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and lead architectural discussions. • Stay updated on emerging technologies to drive continuous modernization. Required Qualifications • At least 6-8 years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps roles. • Expert-level proficiency with Terraform (module design, state management, and workspaces). • Proven hands-on experience with both AWS and Azure. • Strong knowledge of cloud networking, VPC/VNet design, IAM, and security principles. • Proficiency in Linux systems and scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell). • Experience supporting production-grade cloud workloads at scale. • Experience with Containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is a strong plus.
