Infrastructure Project Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead and coordinate infrastructure initiatives across enterprise technology environments. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering infrastructure projects covering areas such as data center, network, server, cloud, end-user computing, and IT operations.

The successful candidate will manage project delivery from initiation through closure, working closely with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure outcomes are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning and Governance

• Plan, manage, and deliver infrastructure projects across on-premise and cloud environments
• Define project scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, and resource requirements
• Establish project governance, reporting cadence, and risk management controls

Infrastructure Delivery Management

• Coordinate infrastructure activities covering network, server, cloud, storage, security, and end-user computing components
• Manage project dependencies, change requests, and issue resolution
• Ensure infrastructure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and operational standards

Stakeholder and Vendor Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders
• Engage internal teams, external vendors, and service providers to ensure aligned delivery
• Facilitate project meetings, status updates, and steering discussions

Risk, Quality, and Compliance

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and delivery challenges
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, security requirements, and operational procedures
• Support testing, migration, and transition to operations activities

Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare and maintain project documentation including plans, status reports, and closure summaries
• Track progress, budget, and key delivery metrics
• Provide clear and timely communication to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

Experience and Skills

• 3 to 7 years of experience in infrastructure or IT project management
• Proven experience managing infrastructure projects in enterprise or corporate environments
• Good understanding of infrastructure domains such as network, server, cloud, security, or data center operations
• Experience working with vendors and cross-functional technical teams
• Strong planning, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured and fast-paced environment

Project Management Knowledge

• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid delivery models
• Experience using project tracking and reporting tools

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Good problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting cloud migration, infrastructure refresh, or technology transformation projects
• Exposure to regulated or high-availability environments
• Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent
